Turn 16 · alice

Turns are zero-based. Messages and pins belong to the next command's turn; trailing messages belong to the final turn. A partner's overflow discard stays in the interrupted turn. Each event and model call below has its own anchor (#e<seq>, #d-<id>).

Your win: STAY on the HCMC station, keep all 4 red, draw for your 5th → cure RED the instant it lands. That's the game. New threat to flag (not in the old pin): YELLOW SUPPLY is down to 11 with a 10-cube yen cluster still out (Lagos/Johannesburg/Khartoum/Kinshasa). Yellow's cured, but if it keeps getting infected and hits 0 we LOSE by depletion even with cures pending. Those cities are all Africa/SA — unreachable for both of us right now — so the ONLY answer is to WIN FAST. Do NOT detour for them; just race the cures. Outbreaks are 4/8 at rate 3 too, so the next infect (your turn-end) is the real threat — but you can't efficiently clear the red 3-bombs (uncured = 1/action), so racing red is right. I'm on the Toronto station, black 3/5, still drawing (I keep pulling red — Taipei/Osaka this turn — but black will come). I cure BLACK the instant my 5th lands. Both one good draw from winning.

Discard: shed 2 dead YELLOW (Lagos / Los Angeles / Sao Paulo — keep at most 1), keep ALL 4 red (your cure set) and the 2 black (Algiers/Cairo, spare fodder). Don't shed red or black. Decision I need from you: are you at HONG KONG to take my Hong Kong(red) card? Heads-up on the cost — handing it off means I LEAVE the Toronto station (~2 moves each way) and it delays MY black cure by ~a turn. You're already 4/5 drawing 2/turn, so you'll most likely pull your 5th red at HCMC naturally within 1-2 turns. My lean: DON'T wait for the handoff — go back to the HCMC station and draw; cure red there. Only if your red draws stall 2+ turns should I make the Hong Kong trip. (Both of us should stay station-side for our cures.) Board: outbreaks 4/8, yellow supply 11 — it's a pure race now. Don't detour for cubes.

YES — I'm AT Hong Kong right now, and my red draw STALLED (drew 2 yellow again, still 4/5). DO THE HANDOFF THIS ROUND — it's cheap for you: use your Ops Expert station-move (Toronto→Hong Kong, discard a dead blue like Milan or Atlanta, 1 action), then shareGive me Hong Kong(red) (1 action), then drive HK→HCMC to grind black AT that station (1 move). That GUARANTEES red: I take HK(red) → 5/5, go HK→HCMC, discoverCure RED. I'm staying at HK this turn. Keep all 3 black — HCMC station works fine for your black cure, so you lose nothing.
