Turn 14 · alice
Turns are zero-based. Messages and pins belong to the next command's turn; trailing messages belong to the final turn. A partner's overflow discard stays in the interrupted turn. Each event and model call below has its own anchor (#e<seq>, #d-<id>).

Situation's tightened: SYDNEY just outbroke (3/8) and infection rate is now 3 — we're in a race, so land the cures. 1) PLAY resilientPopulation ON SYDNEY now (free, no action). The infection discard is just 3 cards — Paris(3), Sydney(3), +1 — so the next epidemic reshuffles them straight onto the top and BOTH would outbreak at rate 3. Deleting SYDNEY prevents the red-supply-draining outbreak (red is 13 and uncured; a Sydney+Manila chain hurts us far more than a Paris blue splash, since blue's cured and healthy). Paris is the alternative if you disagree, but Sydney is the one that bleeds us. 2) Your WIN is just: stay on the HCMC station, draw 2 red → cure red. You're red 3/5 and already AT the cure site — don't leave far. 3) Free actions while you wait: a 1-move Manila (2 red) clear (2 treats → 0, back to HCMC) relieves red supply and breaks Sydney–Manila. Optional — curing red outranks cube-fighting, so only if it's tidy. I'm on the Atlanta station, 3/5 black, grinding draws — I cure the instant my 5th lands. Draws just need to cooperate for both of us now.

Playing resilientPopulation on SYDNEY (kills the red-cluster bomb from the reshuffle; blue Paris is the low-impact alternative). Then clearing Manila 2→0 (restores strained red supply + breaks Sydney–Manila) and returning to the HCMC station to stay cure-ready. FYI: this infect phase (rate 3) can outbreak Algiers/Shanghai/Lagos/Johannesburg (~30% each, all out of my reach) — we may tick to ~4-5/8, but that's survivable and irrelevant next to landing black+red. Keep grinding black at Atlanta.

Discard: KEEP ALL FOUR RED (Manila/HCMC/Beijing/Seoul — that's your cure set at 4/5) and shed a DEAD YELLOW (Sao Paulo or Miami). Keep the black cards (Algiers/Cairo) if you can — spare insurance. You're red 4/5 sitting on the HCMC station → cure RED the instant your 5th red lands; that's the win, don't detour. Backup only: I hold Hong Kong(red). If your red draws stall badly, I can charter Atlanta→Hong Kong and hand it to you (meet there, you drive over) to make you 5/5 — but that strands me off-station in Asia, delaying MY black cure, so treat it as a LAST resort, not now. Just draw your 5th. I'm at the Atlanta station, still 3/5 black, grinding. Both cures are one good draw away.
