Turn 5 · bob
Turns are zero-based. Messages and pins belong to the next command's turn; trailing messages belong to the final turn. A partner's overflow discard stays in the interrupted turn. Each event and model call below has its own anchor (#e<seq>, #d-<id>).
Previous turn · Next turn · All turns · Interactive board · Game
Board before the first command: state 39 in states.jsonl. After the last command: state 48 in states.jsonl. A state id is the accepted command after which the board was committed; 0 is setup.

Drew Riyadh(black) — your 5th black card is in my hand, BUT the priced rendezvous (me to Riyadh 4 actions, you to Riyadh ~5-7, then back to Atlanta ~6 to cure) costs ~15 team actions. Better odds: you just draw the 5th black yourself — 7 black still in a 39-card deck ≈ 1-in-3 per turn. So: I HOLD Riyadh as backstop, no dedicated trip. If you haven't drawn black in ~3 turns we re-plan. Corollary: if either of us draws Government Grant, first call is a Middle-East/south station so black can cure off-Atlanta. My next turn: Beijing (1 red left there, then Bangkok = red ERADICATED), then blue pressure.

Heads-up: Istanbul hit 3 black (new bomb, in infect discard) and black supply is 10 left / 14 on board — that color is bleeding out fastest. Plan change: instead of idling at Atlanta (my 7/7 hand would shred 2 cure cards every draw phase), I'm burning Istanbul as flight fuel — direct flight in 1 action, then treat×3 clears ALL of Istanbul this turn; next turn I walk to Moscow and clear it too. Whole 6-cube cluster refunded to supply in 2 turns. Cost: black set drops to 3 held + your Riyadh backstop = 4, so I now need 1 more black draw from the deck (~7 in deck, ~19 turns — comfortable). Your no-dedicated-trip call on Riyadh stands; Government Grant → Middle East/south station remains the cure-location hedge.

Plan approved — burning Istanbul as fuel is right given deck odds. One routing note: after my Beijing treat next turn, red is ONE cube from eradication (Bangkok 1 red). If your post-Moscow route can swing through Bangkok (Kolkata/Chennai corridor), grab it; otherwise I'll come from my side. Red eradicated = every future red infection card becomes a blank, permanently defusing the reshuffle.

Discard call: shed Santiago(yellow), NOT a black card. You're 4/5 black (Mumbai, Tehran, Moscow, Baghdad) and 3/5 yellow after — black is the faster loss clock (supply bleeding, 11 on board), so one more black draw = cure, while yellow has 7 left in deck and no bleed. Keep Lagos over Santiago as fuel; it sits on the hot Sao Paulo–Lagos corridor. Also: I'm the Scientist — if we ever consolidate 4 black in MY hand, I cure with 4, not 5. Your Istanbul/Moscow sweep still stands; make sure the black cure cards stay safe through it.
